Hi, I’m Rachel one of the Directors at Making Everyone Equal. I’m a full time working Mammy of two minis, that’s children not cars, who has a love of everything Vintage ranging from 1950’s to 1970’s. The music, fashion and the interior design from these eras are just amazing.

I work as a Customer Services Officer for Westfield Housing this is a role I really enjoy, no two days are the same. I love dealing with people and the variety of different queries that come in.

I was truly honoured to be asked to be a director at Making Everyone Equal because I know how passionate Rebecca and the team are about their work, it shines through and it’s so wonderful to see.

Here in West Cumbria we don’t have many services to hand for individuals/families who are looking for help and support. You can often find yourself scrolling through the internet and not find the help you want, even more importantly need.

Making Everyone Equal is a hub of hope an absolute gem here in Whitehaven offering free services to anyone effected by trauma of any kind. Making Everyone Equal offers an invaluable service and I would encourage anyone no matter your background to contact if you need help. You will be guided not judged by specially trained, genuine trauma practitioners with care and compassion on the most suited path for your own personal recovery.

We don’t know what’s round the corner, which is probably for the best, what we do know is that Making Everyone Equal is around the corner to support and guide whenever needed.
